An amazing night!
I'm just emailing to say thank you for such an amazing night! Less people turned up than expected and we didn't know how the night would go but I cannot thank your staff enough for the amazing night we had! They dealt with all our problems and requests so nicely and were a pleasure to enjoy this great time with! Both bar staff looked after us well and even joined in on a few party dances! Crew were fantastic
Thank you for my 60th birthday sunset cruise on the L S Lowry Saturday October 24th. Despite the wet Manchester weather, Alan managed to steer the boat around Media City looking for breaks in the cloud. The entire crew were fantastic and everyone commented how lovely the food was. A great afternoon with City Centre Cruises, three hours seem to go so quick.

Fabulous Sunday Lunch Day Out
I had booked a surprise birthday gathering for the Sunday Lunch Tour. The online process was easy and when I phoned to confirm and enquire about bringing a birthday cake they were very pleasant and helpful. We met at the dockside in Castlefield and after boarding we were offered a very nice choice of either red or white wine (at a very reasonable price). There was also beer or lager on offer. The staff were lovely and all the facilities were clean and fresh. We enjoyed a 3 course lunch which was hot, well presented and tasted great. The info given on the sights as we passed by was light hearted and interesting. All in all we spent a wonderful day with good weather, good company, good food and all for a very very good price. I will definitely be booking another trip in the future and recommending it to my friends.

A truly amazing time
Just to say that everyone had a truly amazing time at my birthday party on Saturday night. The crew (including the chef extraordinaire - what a superb buffet) were outstanding. It was a delight to see Manchester from the water and a real experience going through the lock. From the moment we set sail to when we returned, we all had a ball.

Wonderful experience

What a fantastic time our family had on Manchester's canals with CityCentreCruises. Very slick and friendly service from the crew. The food was outstanding and the boat very well equipped. Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Me and my mates from work booked this and it was lovely. Homemade scones, quiche, wraps, sandwiches and cakes all topped with tea and coffee served on proper bone china. Perfect Sunday afternoon trip.

Boat trip of canal

I took my 2 children 2 years ago now on a trip up the ship canal on our way to Old Trafford Stadium. When we got to the boat called the LS LOWRY we were greeted by the skipper who was very helpful and had great knowledge of the canal and buildings of interest and we were able to take good photo's on our way up. I wouldn't recommend it for people in wheelchairs or scooters as you have to go down small steps on to boat. But overall it was good for all who likes boats he took us around Media City and Salford Quays and the trip lasted about an hour. Then it waited outside the stadium for us to return. The prices are reasonable, there is a bar on board and light snacks were available and toilet. The kids loved it as the skipper was very friendly.

Our group consisting of 43 persons, men and women of all ages, singles and doubles. We all met in warm sunshine and greeted by a extremely smart crew, the ship was named Emmeline Pankhurst, and was very well maintained and furnished. We had an unbelievable , extensive menu Buffet, which consisted of hot and cold selection for every taste. The Crew both on the Bar and Buffet service did all they could to make this day very memorable. We all will come again and perhaps next time book for the Sunday Lunch. Well done to everyone at City Centre Cruises.

Birthday Celebration Dinner Cruise
Celebrated my Brother-in-Laws birthday with a Cruise on the River Irwell. The cruise lasted just over 3 hours during which a 3 course meal with coffee and drinks was served. The food was of a very high standard and the staff were superb. The information provided by the Skipper was very informative and we were able to take pictures of interesting places as we cruised. You get a great view of Old Trafford and the Lowry Centre from the barge. This was our first experience of a river cruise and I would highly recommend this as a way to have a special celebration.

Something different for a Sunday trip out
This trip was an Xmas present for 2014 and I have to say it was excellent. We sailed along the Manchester Ship Canal to Salford Quays and Media City. The tour guide explained the history of the canal and local buildings. The descriptions were very clear and easy to hear. The 3 course meal was excellent and my vegetarian option was very tasty. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Everyone had an amazing night
We hired one of your boats yesterday evening for my hen do, and I would just like to say a massive thank you to you all and the staff that were on the boat. They was so kind and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food was really really good too. Couldn't fault it. And thanks so much for the free glass of Prosecco each what a lovely touch. Everyone had an amazing night and everyone loved the boat best.

Fabulous evening

We hired the boat last Thursday for the 2nd year running to help raise funds for St Ann’s Hospice and everyone had a fabulous evening, the crew were so accommodating in helping to arrange the evening - they put on a superb buffet which everyone thoroughly enjoyed - and it’s hard to please a big crowd. Sunday Cruise

I visited Manchester for the first time recently and I went on this Sunday Cruise. It was the highlight of my visit. I would strongly recommend this day tour, everything was so professional. The meal itself was the best three course meal I have ever had. The staff on board were brilliant.

Father’s Day Sunday lunch

I wanted to do something different for my husbands first fathers day so i booked her and requested a high chair for my 7 month old baby. On arrival everything was ready for the baby and the staff were lovely throughout. The food was lovely, fresh and served piping hot. We started with veg soup and a roll and moved on to roast beef with all the trimmings, the homemade gravy and yorky pud were very good! Finished with cinnamon apple tart. Highly recommend. Drinks very reasonable, 1.20 for a glass of soft drink. Parking was 5.00 under the Castlefield Bridge which is a 3 min walk if that to the boat.

Something Different

Had a really lovely time on this cruise that left at 6pm. Cruising along whilst eating some lovely food (3 courses) that was served piping hot. Alcohol was also on board. Staff were excellent and very friendly. I must say they worked very hard as there were 50 people on the boat. Most people on the canal side waved at us as we sailed along. A very enjoyable evening that was something different.

A really enjoyable lunch cruise. You get a completely different view from the canal while enjoying a lovely hotpot and apple pie. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommended.

A must do experience

Firstly I would point out that parking for this event was at the Euro car park, Bridgewater Street, off Deansgate at a price of £4 for the day. A good start. From here to the Science Museum, which is opposite to the embarkation point, was a 10 minute walk. We were very lucky with the weather, sunshine all day. We boarded the cruise barge at the allotted time and found our table with seats by the window. During the cruise we were subjected to a Canal lock 'drop' of 12 Feet, an excellent hotpot with red cabbage and apple pie with custard and a great tour of the waterways around Media City. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Manchester.

Excellent value for money

Just been on the Media City Lunch Cruise where We cruised along the Bridgewater and Manchester Ship canals all the way to Media City and back with a brilliant commentary all the way going. Very interesting and saw some great sights. The food was fantastic. A delicious hot pot followed by Apple crumble and custard and a well stocked bar kept us all very happy.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the boat itself was spacious and clean.

Booze Cruising

We booked the boat to celebrate a 30th birthday party. It easily fit our group of 29, with plenty of room for more! The well-stocked bar and friendly staff made our time on the boat very enjoyable. We were able to plug our iPhones in and play the music as loud as we liked! The boat was clean and spacious and even had separate male and female toilets. City Centre Cruises comes highly recommended!

Wonderful

Just a brief note to say many, many thanks for a super city cruise last week Saturday. Despite the initially downpour it was a lovely celebration. Everybody appears to to have enjoyed the occasion. The feedback I have had from my guests, especially those from the Netherlands was unanimously positive; they all thought it was wonderful. The food also was excellent, beautifully presented and tasting great. In fact some of the guests have said that the cruise has given them the idea they might like to do this at some time in the future. So many thanks again. I will spread the word.
